ADAS Calibrations
Cameras, radar, and driver-assist sensors recalibrated to OEM spec.
Modern vehicles rely on a network of cameras, radar units, and sensors to power features like automatic emergency braking, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. When those components are disturbed by a collision, a windshield replacement, a wheel alignment, or even a bumper removal, they often need to be recalibrated to read the road correctly again. At Collision Center Orlando, ADAS calibration is a standard part of how we return a vehicle to the road, not an afterthought.
Why ADAS Calibration Matters After a Repair
Driver-assist systems are only as accurate as the sensors feeding them. A forward-facing camera mounted a fraction of a degree off, or a radar sensor shifted slightly during bumper work, can cause these systems to misjudge distance or react late. That is why camera and sensor calibration is required after so many common repairs, including glass replacement, suspension and alignment work, and any panel work near a sensor.
The challenge is that you usually cannot see whether a system is calibrated by looking at it. The vehicle may appear fine and still have an out-of-spec safety feature. Proper driver assist recalibration in Orlando confirms, with documented results, that the technology is actually aiming where it should.
What Our ADAS Calibration Process Includes
We follow the position and equipment requirements the manufacturer specifies for your make and model. Depending on the system, that means a static calibration in a controlled bay, a dynamic calibration on the road, or both.
- A scan to identify which ADAS systems are present and which need attention
- Static calibration using OEM targets, measured spacing, and a level, properly lit bay
- Dynamic (road) calibration where the manufacturer requires it
- Verification that fault codes are cleared and systems report ready
- Documentation of the calibration for your records and the repair file
Every calibration follows the automaker’s published OEM targets and tolerances — documented, and factory-warranty-safe.
